This past weekend I finally completed my Hornet project. It was a fun learning experience from both a mechanical and artistic perspective. I’m glad its over now Hope you enjoy the pictures. You may also download and use the poster that I’ve made.
I’ve been neglecting a few of my hobbies the past couple of weeks coz some other things had taken a higher priority. My deadline for completing this model is August 15th, Indian Independence Day, and by the looks of it I’m confident I can finish it by then. You can keep up with the progress on my thread at Fichtenfoo.com [link]
I started off with the cockpit, I chose the two seat option coz I’m a sucker for punishment
I’ve captioned the pictures so that you’ll have an idea of whats going on. This is as far as I’ve come for now, hopefully there will be more progress in the next weeks
This weekend I finally got round to doing some work on the Hornet kit that I bought recently. Since this is my first model aircraft I wanted so some online research and get an idea of the plane and things like cockpit design, loadout/ordinance and structure. My plan is to complete the build by August 15th and have some ideas for an ‘Indian touch’. Hopefully the given time frame would be enough to get this thing done.
